Delicious Casual Fine Dining
In the mood for delectable dishes without the stuffy atmosphere? You’ve definitely come to the right place. Blue Wave’s Executive Chef Andrew Mroz has crafted a menu that’s full of absolutely fantastic favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He and his team even put out a must-try Weekend Brunch that’s absolutely out of this world. Even if all you want is a little something sweet from the dessert menu, we’ve got your back. So no matter when you get a craving for quality cooking, you can stop down and leave satisfied.
Full Beverage Service
Whether you’re meeting friends for a few cocktails, looking for the perfect pour to accompany a meal, or want to end your evening with a nightcap, Blue Wave’s full-service bar is always serving up lively libations. We offer a draft and bottled beer menu that’s packed with local favorites and craft brews, as well as select wines, a full range of mixed drinks, and a specialty summer cocktail menu — all hand-crafted with premium spirits. Daily Happy Hour
Happy Hour is back, and Blue Wave has got the best one in town! Every day from 3 – 6 p.m., you’re invited to stop in for discounted drink specials, as well as small plates served hot and fresh for a very tasty price. So go ahead — indulge in a frosty cold beer and a heaping plate of Garlic Fries, some tasty pan Asian-inspired Potstickers, or Nachos, Wings, Mozzarella Sticks and much more. It’s always a good time filled with sun and fun.
Live Music
There’s only one thing that goes better with dinner than a glass of wine — and that’s some live musical accompaniment. When you stop into Blue Wave Bar and Grill on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights, you’ll be treated to some fantastic local San Diego artists offering timeless favorites for your listening enjoyment from 5 – 9 pm. So sit back, relax, and fill your ears with some musical magic courtesy of our resistant virtuosos.
Island Palms Inferno
When we say things are really heating up around here this summer, we mean it literally. Every Thursday starting Labor Day weekend, Blue Wave Bar and Grill will take a walk on the wild side with new weekly live fire dancing shows! Fiercely talented fire bender Fiora Firefly will be bringing her captivating performances to mesmerize our guests. So make sure you get a seat early, and prepare to be amazed by her unforgettably fiery ferocity.
NEW — Poolside Taco Cart

Thanks to our close proximity to the border, San Diego has long been famous for authentic Mexican cuisine. That’s why from now through the end of summer, guests can stop by our new poolside taco cart and sample some of our favorite local flavors! Taco service will be available daily from 9am to dark, and will feature a rotating selection of delicious options. So grab a taco, order up a beer or frozen drink, and relax in the sun!
