A Guide to Fall in San Diego
Fall might be San Diego’s best kept secret. The weather is still warm and sunny, the summer crowds are long gone, and since it’s the off season, expect more discounts at annual events and attractions. We’re letting you in on the best fall activities in San Diego:
Petco Park
While the Padres have been down on their luck in terms of playoffs, rooting for the home team is still a ton of fun. Head over to Petco Park for the unique stadium food, people watching, and of course, the ball game.
Kids Free
All October long, kids can get in free with one paying adult to dozens of San Diego theme parks, tours, museums, attractions, and more! LEGOLAND California, the San Diego Zoo, and SeaWorld are all popular participants of this kid-friendly month. This is a great way to enjoy the beautiful San Diego fall weather, and save on popular attractions! Blue Wave Bar & Grill here at Island Palms is also participating all month long! If you’re staying with us in October- come in to dine with the family! Kids 12 and under, eat free per paid adult entrée.
Humphrey’s by the Bay Concert Series
At our friendly Shelter Island neighbors, Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn, catch their Humphrey’s by the Bay Outdoor Concert series. Running through the end of October, catch dinner and a show, featuring some of San Diego finest local artists, as well as some famous faces as well.
Haunted Trail of Balboa Park
By day, this beautiful park is the heartbeat of San Diego’s cultural scene, but nightly from September 28 to October 31, the frightful ghouls and masked performers will have your heart racing as you tiptoe through this mile-long trail of frights.
