New Year’s Eve 2017 San Diego
Who doesn’t love hanging up a brand new calendar? Celebrate the end of 2016 and the start of 2017 at great New Year’s Eve events in San Diego. There’s something for everyone; you can get the kids home in time for bed or dance ’til dawn. Here’s where to go to welcome in the new year!
Kids’ New Years Eve at Legoland
Just because midnight is way past their bedtimes doesn’t mean the little ones shouldn’t get to enjoy New Year’s Eve. Head to Legoland for a New Year’s Eve party complete with a Lego-brick dropping to mark the new year. The event ends with fireworks at 6pm.
Grown-Up Nights Out
Enjoy New Year’s Eve afloat on a New Year’s Eve yacht party. Cruise with the lights of San Diego’s harbor behind you while indulging in the open bar. Passed and displayed hors d’oeuvres mean you won’t get the midnight munches. There are three decks with DJs and dance floors, so you’re sure to find music you can dance to, whichever style gets your groove on. Noisemakers mean midnight gets the attention it deserves!
Cruise from pub to pub on the New Year’s Eve pub crawl. Our historic Gaslamp district is the scene for this event, which gets you entry and drink specials, including champagne, at a half-dozen hip bars. Try them out ’til you find the one that suits you best.
